Large, blocky, thick-walled stuffing pepper introduced by Burpee’s in 1928. Has an upright, everbearing habit that keeps fruit high on 24-30” plants. Forms glossy, 6 oz. deep green fruit that turn red quickly under a range of different conditions (use plastic mulch to hasten maturity into reds). Good for both shipping and freezing. Shows strong resistance to TMV.
