5:00-7:00	Field Walk: High Mowing Organic Seeds’ Showcase and Trial Gardens. Visitors will see side-by-side comparisons of over 700 vegetable, herb and flower varieties, including new, up-and-coming varieties, and have a chance to evaluate varieties not just with their eyes, but also with their taste-buds!
6:30-7:00	Local Food Celebration: Featuring locally grown produce and delectable treats from Vermont companies such as Vermont Soy, Liz Lovely Cookies, Cabot Creamery, Jasper Hill Farm, Pop Soda, Capital Grounds and more!

The Growing and Processing Soybeans in VT workshop includes three tours. The first tour starts at Vermont Soy in Hardwick, VT, looking at their processing facility and discussing their desire to purchase more locally grown soybeans. Next, the tour heads down the road to High Mowing Organic Seeds where Tom Stearns will give a tour of our Seed Mill and discuss the opportunities for its use for Vermont soybean and grain growers. Last stop is the High Mowing Organic Seeds' Trial Gardens where for the past three years VT Soy and UVM have been conducting variety trials to find a food-grade soybean that is suitable for growers in Vermont.
