Our current strain of this variety displayed a significant number of off-types in our 2008 trials but we offer it here for shoot and flower production only. Dwarf Grey Sugar is the only pea variety with purple flowers; which make nice additions to spring salad mixes. Plants average 2-4’ in height and are mixed with snap and shell pods. We have a 2009 production in place using trialed stock seed that is true to type for the 2010 catalog.
