The darkest red of all! Glossy leaves with burgundy-red color and a bit of light green at the base. As an addition to salad mixes, Galactic is out of this world, creating an excellent contrast of color. Not commonly grown as full-size leaf lettuce due to relatively compact size and, like other extremely dark red lettuces, bittering flavor at full maturity.
