Love-in-a-Mist Nigella

Nigella hispanica
An intense blue Love-in-the-Mist type of Nigella. Intricate pastel blue flowers have wiry green stamens with wispy, fernlike foliage. Blossoms are followed by round, burgundy-striped seed pods that work wonderfully in arrangements. Makes an attractive plant all season. Tends to have sprawling growth habit. Direct seed 1/2” deep and thin to a final spacing of 8”. Transplanting is not recommended.
