Establishes quickly. Above the soil, ryegrass biomass can yield 4,000-8,000 lbs of dry matter. Hardy through Zone 6. Broadcast seed at 20-30 lbs/acre. If soil is tilled and moist, no need to incorporate; if dry or using for culti-packing drill 10-20 lbs/acre, 1/4-1/2 inch deep. Seeding rate: 1/2 lb/1,000 sq ft.(Lolium multiflorum)
