Emerald Oak Lettuce

Emerald Oak Lettuce  Lactuca sativa
Its crisp, buttery-heart and sweet flavor make Emerald Oak a real jewel! Rounded oakleaf shaped leaves are thick and tighten to form dense heads. Dark green spinach color is vibrant and striking. Appears to be a cross between Blushed Butter Oak and Deer Tongue, taking the best from both. An original release from breeder Frank Morton and an all-around favorite in our trials. Shows field resistance to Tip Burn.
