B. olceracea - HEIRLOOM Also known as "Dinosaur Kale" due to its bumpy leaf surface resembling dinosaur skin! This unique variety has the darkest blue-green color of any kale. Our strain has been reinvigorated by Frank Morton and is widely appreciated for its superior flavor, vigor, and hardiness. Grown side by side with other strains of Lacinato this one easily stood out and is the only strain we carry. Staff favorite at HMS!
Days to maturity: 30 days baby leaf, 60 days mature leaves

*Please Note: For sizes C, D, E and F we are using a sub for our regular strain of Lacinato. This strain is true to type, but smaller leaves and less full habit than what we normally offer.
