Organic Old Spice Sweet Pea - A colorful collection of traditional varieties with strongly scented flowers. Bright pink, crimson, purple and creamy white blossoms are somewhat smaller than modern strains. Plants climb 3-4’ tall. Derived from the old Eckford series and known to be exceptionally heat resistant, doing well in hotter climates where most sweet peas perform poorly. Sweet peas prefer their head in the sun and their feet in the shade. Plant outdoors as soon as soil can be worked. Plant seeds 2” deep and 6” apart. Seeds can be soaked before planting to speed emergence. Seed requires darkness for germination. Trellis for support. Annual. 5,280 seeds/oz(Lathyrus odoratus)
