Red Flame Celosia  Organic Red Flame Celosia - Red foliage sets this cockscomb celosia apart from all others. Use for cutting or as a bedding plant. Plants average 20-26” with 2-4” combs. Easy to grow. Sow outdoors in late spring after last frost for early summer blooms or start indoors 6-8 weeks before planting date. Planting depth is 1/8”. Cover seeds lightly in a flat and maintain a constant temperature between 70-80°F. Pot up at same depth as seedlings emerge three weeks after sowing. Plant in full sun, thinning to 12” apart. Annual. 1,100 seeds/oz(Celosia cristata)
