Garden Sorrel  Organic Sorrel - Sorrel is best known for its tangy leafy greens, which are commonly used in soups and stews, in salad, or as a braising green. This cold tolerant leafy green is becoming increasingly popular as an over-wintered gourmet spring green. Leaves are bright green and slender with long petioles. Full-size leaves grow to 8 long. Plants can be harvested all season long but are best sown in late summer for harvest in early spring when most tender and mild. Grow as a baby leaf or for full size leaves. Direct sow as soon as soil can be worked or start transplants in March. Sow seeds deep, plant spacing is 8 in 12- 18 rows. Plant after danger of frost has passed. Deadhead seed stalks to encourage more leaves. Perennial. 34M seeds/oz (Rumex acetosa)

Days to maturity: 45 days baby, 120 flower
