We offer both certified organic turnip seed and certified organic rutabaga seed for the home garden or commercial farm. Turnips predate rutabagas and are frequently referenced in Greek and Roman texts. Turnip greens are the most nutritious part of the plant, containing significant amounts of vitamins A, C and K, folate, calcium and lutein, which has been shown to help prevent cataracts and cardiovascular disease. Both turnip and rutabaga roots are a good source of fiber and Vitamin C.
