Appreciated not only for its unusual color, but also for its remarkable earliness, heavy set, and tolerance of cool nights. One of the most reliable colored peppers in very short seasons. The fruits are medium-small, tapered, blunt-ended with long stems. Very mild flavor with medium-thick flesh. Brick red under its skin, it is attractive cooked or eaten raw.
