Similar to Nelson, Yaya has 6” cylindrical blunt roots, but smoother and more uniform. Truly stellar, “new age nantes” flavor and crispness. Excellent for bunching with very strong tops. Yaya has become the main season and fall carrot of choice for many of our commercial growers nationwide. Performs well under versatile planting densities. 45seeds/ft gives small bunching, 30seeds/ft gives early nantes, 15seeds/ft gives good size soup or storage carrot. Outstanding ratings in our 2006, 2007 and 2008 taste tests trials. Available as raw or pelleted seed.
