Guard-N® contains several strains of rhizobia bacteria to stimulate the development of nitrogen-producing nodules on the roots of leguminous plants. Inoculation of legumes dramatically increases yields, improves soil conditions and boosts overall plant vigor. Correct inoculant selection for the variety of legume being grown is critical for successful nitrogen fixation. This all-purpose organic inoculant is for shell peas, snap peas, field peas, dry beans, snap beans, lima beans, fava beans, lentils, vetch and most other peas or beans.

Rhizobia strains in this product include: Bradyrhizobium japonicum, Bradyrhizobium sp. (Vigna), Rhizobium leguminorsarum biovar viceae and Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar phaseoli.
