Quality Control Technician

High Mowing Organic Seeds is seeking a dedicated full-time Technician looking to join our team.  This role will report to the Quality Control Manager and focus on all aspects of evaluating and improving seed quality.  The ideal candidate will possess a natural curiosity about seed biology, and be interested in learning about, and being flexible to, all processes that go into creating high quality seed lots for our customers. 

Requirements for this position include a biology or plant science background, excellent computer skills, strong organizational skills and an interest in how things work and grow.

IT System Administrator

The IT System Administrator will provide technical support to end users.  He or she will also perform routine maintenance on and troubleshoot issues related to computers, phones, LAN, applications, computer peripherals, security and monitor the organization’s overall network health. This position will provide tier 1 and tier 2 IT support.  The IT System Administrator is responsible for interacting with external vendors regarding the provisioning of new services as well as technical support evaluations.  The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated with a customer-centric attitude and a willingness to work flexible shifts. 

The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills, both verbally and written.  Experience with networking technologies including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, firewall configuration, Microsoft HyperV, TCP/IP v4/v6, VLANs, VPN and wireless is a must.  A high school diploma, relevant job-related certifications and five years related work experience is required.

Regional Sales Associate

We seek an experienced sales representative to build new relationships and deepen existing relationships with customers, broaden our exposure and grow our revenue.  The Regional Sales Associate is primarily focused on selling to commercial growers through both inbound and outbound channels. The successful candidate will conduct outreach calls and visits to organic vegetable farms in order to reach or exceed sales goals, represent High Mowing at tradeshows and conferences, and assist in the development of marketing materials, blog articles and other materials in cooperation with the Marketing Department.  The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience with commercial organic vegetable production or broad knowledge of commercial vegetable varieties and organic farming techniques, and be a proven relationship builder and sales closer.

Customer Service Associate

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for processing incoming orders and for providing excellent customer service to our broad range of customers.  The successful candidate will receive and process large amounts of incoming orders by phone, web, fax, or email.  They will answer customer questions about our products and growing practices in general, and may also be asked to represent High Mowing at tradeshows and conferences if necessary.  The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, including the ability to use positive language, attentiveness and adaptability to resolve customer complaints.  This person must have practical working knowledge of and experience with commercial vegetable production methods.
